Ayman Murkerji Househam
Mindfulness Teacher and Neuroscience Researcher
NYU Langone Medical School

Ayman is a mindfulness teacher, neuroscience researcher with NYU Langone Medical School and therapist-in-training at NYU. Her work focuses on the mindfulness for children, caregivers and the elderly. Ayman’s publications show the benefits of a regular mindfulness practice on the brain. Her research on the neuroimmunological and gut microbial changes associated with a stress-free life are being published by the Advances in Mind-Body Medicine journal. Ayman has worked with pediatric patients with autism spectrum disorder and ADHD, a topic she elaborates on in her book chapter. Her approach towards building mindful families blends mindfulness techniques of the East with parent-child-interaction therapy of the West.

Nicole Nardizz

Nicole’s mindfulness training includes more than 500 hours of rigorous practice and instruction through Center For Mindfulness at Massachusetts Medical School. She teaches the 8-Week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course, (MBSR) in Ossining at Dragonfly Wellness and Yoga Studio.

Nicole is also founder and Clinical Director of Village Therapy Group in Briarcliff Manor NY. She earned her MSW from Columbia University, Clinical Supervisor Certificate from Fordham University and Qualification in MBSR from University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Nicole has utilized “Mindfulness” techniques in her Therapy practice for several years with children and adults. She has taught her clients strategies and tools to manage anxiety, depression, and stress while exploring the source of the issue to promote resolution.

Kendra Negron
Yoga Practitioner and Owner
Dragonfly Wellness

Kendra has been a yoga practitioner for the better part of 23 years. She received her Kripalu 200-Hour teacher certificate after taking an immersion training at the Kripalu Center in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts. Kendra is the owner of Dragonfly Wellness a community-focused yoga studio in Ossining. She facilitates classes for kids in the local Ossining school district, teaches mindfulness to OUFSD teachers and also leads a “yoga for recovery” class for those beautiful souls living in recovery and sobriety. Starting at 5 years old, Kendra was exposed to and worked with energy healing under the guide and watchful eye of her Grandmother, Petra Valentine Negron.

Kendra is also a Reiki Master. Having received her attunements in the Usui tradition she has been a Master practitioner for over 20 years. She incorporates Reiki into all of her yoga classes to cultivate a deeply relaxing experience during Savasana at the end of her class. Her passions include singing, dancing, random outbursts of laughter, helping others, and her own journey toward compassionate self-awareness.
