What’s Race Got To Do With It?
Thursday, February 23, 2017
Our first in a Series of Community Discussions on Racism….What’s Race Got to Do with It? will help our audience recognize and challenge racial inequities by providing a starting point for a productive level of community conversation — one grounded in real-life issues and experiences.
The stories of the students who are the subjects of the film help get the “high stakes” topics out on the table in a manner accessible to individuals who have never thought much about race, as well as long-time activists.
Join us as we enter into our first discussion with both educators and students of Ossining High School’s SUNY Racism, Sexism & Classism class.
